In just two weeks since our launch, Food for Africa News has been viewed more than 1.5 million times.
Our newsroom was created to focus on hunger, agriculture, and food security across the continent. In the first days online, daily views rose quickly, climbing from a few thousand to more than one hundred thousand in a single day.

We have reported on child malnutrition, school feeding programs, farming policies, rice imports, and corruption in food reserves. Our goal is to bring attention to issues that are too often missing from mainstream headlines.
We thank every reader who has viewed and shared our work. Independent reporting on hunger and agriculture still matters, and this milestone shows there is an audience that wants these stories told.
Our coverage will expand in the months ahead. Follow Food for Africa News on Facebook and X for daily updates and for facts and perspectives you will not always see elsewhere.
